FULL-TIME BOOKKEEPER IN LEWISTOWN
Job Description
United State Bank is searching for a full-time Bookkeeper who is responsible for recording and maintaining financial records for each branch, overseeing and reconciling financial transactions, and providing customer support.
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Check stop pay report
- Check two signature required accounts
- Check large item checks for endorsements
- Review GL Descriptions on Core
- Mail CD Renewal Letters
- Reply to internet banking messages
- Order debit cards daily
- Send Easy Pin letters
- Submit travel notices to Shazam
- Increase/decrease debit cards
- Balance coin every Wednesday and order as needed
- Balance in house statements every Thursday
- Balance check order accounts
- Review debit card reissue report monthly
- Answer the phone
- Learn teller line and work Saturday rotation
The successful candidate will have:
- Good communication skills
- General computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Maintain Confidentiality
Preferred Position Requirements
High school education or its equivalent.
Regular hours are from 8:00 to 4:00 Monday through Friday and some Saturday’s from 9:00 to 12:00. Benefit package includes health, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance. We offer paid vacation, flex time, and holidays. We also offer a 401(k) plan with both pre-tax and Roth options.
