Head Teller
United State Bank is seeking a full-time Head Teller in Edina that is responsible for the day-to-day supervising, training, and developing of tellers; and serves as the main contact for tellers to assist them in resolving teller transactions, balancing issues, and cash outages.
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervises, trains, and helps other tellers to perform duties effectively & efficiently
- Helps tellers handle and resolve customer / teller transactions and balancing issues
- Oversees and manages the cash vault, orders, and ships money / Manages ATM
- Processes financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures while maintaining daily & accurate drawer balancing
- Schedule tellers who will work on Saturday’s (will include some Saturdays from 9 to 12 for you)
- Open accounts including personal, non-personal, and IRA’s; following correct procedures and policies
- Improve customers banking experience by ensuring the customers are addressed promptly and their needs met accurately
- Ensure confidential customer information is properly protected and only used for official purposes

Preferred Position Requirements

Floater Teller
United State Bank is seeking a full-time Teller to travel to multiple branches that provides prompt, efficient, and friendly service involving receipt and payment of cash to customers. Acknowledges customer needs with suggestions appropriate to the bank’s services. Follows the established bank policies and procedures for this position and follows the supervisor’s direction.
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Receives commercial and individual checking deposits, verifies cash and endorsements and issues receipts.
- Accepts checks for cashing or paying, verifies endorsement, validity and funds, and makes change.
- Receives savings deposits. Pays withdrawals after verifying balance and signature.
- Receives loan payments, checks due dates.
- Accepts requests for payment of U.S. savings bonds and receives bonds
- Issue cashier’s checks, money orders and any other product that may be offered by the bank.
- Always keeps cash secure and maintains a high level of safety for the bank.
- Accepts stop payment requests, check reorders, and address changes. Distributes these to proper personnel for processing.
- Maintains proper levels of cash in cash drawer.
- Answers customer questions, when necessary, always using the opportunities to cross-sell other bank services.
- Processes financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures while maintaining daily & accurate drawer balancing

Bookkeeper
United State Bank is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper that is responsible for recording and maintaining financial records for each branch, oversees and reconciles financial transactions, and provides customer support.
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Check daily nonpost report
- Log returned mail
- Balance corresponding bank statements
- Accounts payable
- Approve internet banking enrollments
- Run transactions for investments
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Reset internet banking passwords
- Daily maintenance on accounts including debit cards
- Check dormant and inactive accounts
- Approve mobile deposit enrollments
- Double check and release wires
- Process ACH files
- Help co-workers with any duties that may arise
- Cross training to hep when co-workers are out of the office
- Learn teller line and work Saturday rotation

Preferred Position Requirements
- High school education or its equivalent.
Regular hours are from 8:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday and some Saturday’s from 9:00am-12:00pm. Benefit package for full-time employees includes health, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance. We also offer paid vacation, sick time, and Holidays. We offer a 401(k) plan with both pre-tax and Roth options.
Experience is desired but not mandatory.
