Loan Secretary (Lewistown, MO)

United State Bank is seeking a full-time highly-analytical Loan Secretary. Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Remain current on and adhere to all regulatory required training
  • Assists in preparing loan documentation checklists and any other communications necessary to send to loan secretaries for uploading loans
  • Prioritize loan files to meet all individual loan timelines including commitments and closing dates
  • Provide excellent customer service both in person and by phone
  • Take initiative to solve problems which arise regarding insurance, discrepancies, tax issues, etc.
  • Verify the accuracy of the information in the file to ensure data integrity
  • Represent United State Bank in community events
  • Complete clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing documents, scanning, and organizing
  • Scan and index loan documents
  • Provide administrative support to lender
  • Follow all bank policies and procedures
  • Must be self-motivated and participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:

  • Strong communications skills
  • General computer skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a multi-tasked environment
  • Maintain confidentiality 

This position will work as a part-time teller in addition to providing support to Loan Officers. Hours are Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. Bookkeeper (Lewistown, MO)

United State Bank is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper. Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Check daily maintenance from each branch (opened accts, closed accts, debit card maintenance, internet banking maintenance, account information changes, death notifications, etc... if corrections need made you will need to contact the person(s) that originally made the change or ask another bookkeeper to make the changes).
  • Balance teller cash daily and make necessary corrections
  • Answer the phone
  • Change internet banking passwords
  • Mail out CD renewal notices, maturing CD notices, lock box notices, overdraft notices
  • Help co-workers with any other duties that may arise
  • Communicate well with co-workers
  • Work Saturday rotation as a teller
